LEGACY
Dalí Theatre-Museum- Inaugurated in september 28, 1974, and apart from some 1,500 art works, Dalí devotees can also view the artist's crypt, which is located in the museum's center.
The Gala-Salvador-Dalí- It manages about 2,500 additional works by Dalí and occasionally lends them out for temporary exhibitions. It also runs other Dalí-devoted museums, such as the the Portlligat House-museum in Cadaques, Spain, and the Gala Dalí Castle in Pubol, Spain.
Dalí Museum St. Petersburg- It's opened since March 10, 1982. Based around the collection compiled by A. Reynolds and Eleanor Morse, the museum features nearly 100 Dalí oil paintings, along with many other pieces of art.
He is remembered in Spain for being an anarchist for a great part of his life, and having ties with the franco regime.
Dali shows his anarchism in his works, which reached universal significance. In looking closely at his work, we see a lot of Catalan-ness, irony, impulse, and sincerity, all with the stamp of Salvador Dalí, artist of himself and lover of Gala.
He collaborated for two of Luis Bunuel films, including the short Un Chien Andalou in 1929 which is still know by people
